This walking tour provides a structured circuit through the central district of Lisbon, known as the Baixa. Participants will be met at their designated accommodation to begin a route focused on the urban reconstruction and history of the city center.
The itinerary covers the grid-pattern streets and primary public squares rebuilt after the 18th-century earthquake. The walk includes observations of Pombaline architecture and historical landmarks that define the downtown area. During the tour, the group will stop at a local establishment for one serving of Ginja (traditional cherry liqueur) per person.
