I joined the tour to Pena Palace, Sinatra, Cabo da Roca, and Cascais led by Jose in June. My mother (77 yrs old) and my sister who cannot walk fast were also with us. It was a small group: 9 people including Jose. We had a great time. Jose was very kind, patient, and accommodating. The other people with us were equally kind and caring. Even though we didn't go to the inside of the palace, we learned a lot about history and architecture. We had plenty of time to explore downtown Sintra and Jose recommended a delicious ice cream place at Cascais. We had a wonderful tour of Cascais and Sintra with Nuno, our friendly private guide. He was extremely well informed regarding the essential history behind all the sights we enjoyed en route. We were also able to customize our trip according to our interests. He booked a delicious lunch for us in Cascais and was prompt at every arranged meeting time.
