At what time tour starts?

Pick up time depends on your hotel location or meeting point location, in your booking invoice you can find time when guide will come to pick you up.

How big is the group?

Group is designed for max. 8 people.

How many hours will takes this tour?

Are Tickets included?

Yes, Tickets are included in the tour price.

Are we going to visit Cabo da Roca?

Yes, Cabo da Roca is included in the itinerary.

Do you come to pick me up from my hotel?

Yes, we do pick up at hotels too in case you choose that option during booking process. Make sure that you write correct address of your hotel or accommodation from where we should pick you up.

I / my relative(s) have a physical disability or walking limitation. What is the level of activity involved in this tour?

We arrange all tours with a private vehicle to transport you, the only level of activity involved is really in the monuments visited. But we have to warn you that most of the monuments have stairs and uphills and may not be options for people with mobility limitations.

The tour group is monolingual or multilingual?

We try not to mix different languages in the same vehicle. It will be more productive for you and less tiring for the Guide. However, in exceptional cases the Tour can be done in more than one language.

What is the charge for the baby and can we use his car seat in the van?

The price of the tour for a child depends on his age. You can use your own child seat, or at the time of booking indicate the exact age of the child, and we will provide you a child seat according to the child’s age.

I would like to book a tour but we have 10-15 people in our group. You only list prices for tours with a maximum of 8. Is it possible?

Yes, of course. The maximum of 8 is mentioned because it is the maximum capacity of our vehicles. In cases like these, and in order to ensure maximum comfort & attention, we will use 2 vans or private comfortable bus. Please send us an email with your needs and we’ll send our prices immediately.

At what time tour will finish?

Tour finish around 17:30.

SINTRA CASCAIS FULL DAY GROUP TOUR – ITINERARY

First of all, guide will meet you in front of your hotel or at meeting point referring on the option chosen during the booking. Make sure you didn’t forget to take your camera with you. For your comfort, we use only 8-seat air-conditioned vehicle by Mercedes-Benz. When everybody is on board we ready to move forward. We will break away from Lisbon’s rush and move to calm countryside, place surrounded by beautifully preserved nature where is located amazing Sintra.

Then we’ll carry on our tour and visit the Pena Palace, place where Portuguese Royal family spent its summers. This breathtaking masterpiece based on the highest point of the slope sitting above the shoreline of Lisbon. On your way to palace you pass by the Pena Park is a tremendous forested area totally encompassing the Pena Palace, spreading for more than 200 hectares of uneven territory. You’ll have 1.5 hours to discover the medieval architecture of the palace. Construction of palace was completed in 1854 and it has an abundance of styles much in accordance with the exotic taste of Romanticism of the 19th century richly decorated with Moorish and Manueline motifs, which you can find only in Portugal. At the end of the 18th century the implantation of Romanticism by the King D. Fernando II attracts a large number of visitors, becoming a unique cultural center. Enjoy the panoramic look of the quiet peaceful forests and dense gardens covered by exotic plants and flowers. Listen to exciting stories that will make you feel like you have entered into a fairytale in medieval times. In the gardens, you will experience a wonderfully mysterious atmosphere thanks to the surrounding towers with spouts, and glamorously decorated benches and fountains.

After will stop at the historical center of Sintra town. You have some time to explore ancient streets of flashy houses and buy gifts for a great memory in local shops. Microclimate supported by the Serra classified by UNESCO as Cultural Landscape and Patrimony of Humanity in 1995. Take a break for a traditional Portuguese lunch. Depend on a decision of the group you can choose the local restaurant in Sintra, Cabo da Roca or Cascais. There you can find a variety of Traditional Portuguese dishes: Francesinha, Polvo à Lagareiro, Caldo Verde, Cozido a Portuguesa. Bacalhau a Bras, etc. and of course, you can try famous Portuguese desserts: Salame de chocolate, Bolo de bolacha.

After lunch, we begin the second part of our tour to one of the most astonishing views in whole Portugal – the westernmost point of Continental Europe “Cabo da Roca”. Just imagine – what else could be a better souvenir than a certificate proving that you have reached the very end of the world? After this breathtaking stop, our journey will resume along with the charming beaches of the seaside resort Cascais, including Praia do Guincho, one of the most popular for surfing, windsurfing & kitesurfing. This beach has hosted the World Surfing Championships.

Next stop is absolutely beautiful rock wall with the very dramatic name – Mouth of Hell (Boca do Inferno). This breathtaking chasm located on a cliff seashore close to Cascais will engage you with crashing waves. After viewing the landscape of Mouth of Hell we will stop at the fishing village –Cascais with its lovely harbor full of small fishing boats. This town in the 19th century became favorite summer destination of the European aristocracy and noble families for its idyllic location and a pleasant climate. We have a relaxing walk along the bay of Cascais. Our last stop is your Lisbon accommodation spot. We take you there by A EN6 – Avenida Marginal along the coast, passing by Estoril until Lisbon, admiring the beautiful coast and it’s beaches.

Will the tour allow us to attend a full mass in Fatima?

In group tour we can’t guarantee attend mass, because it’s doable if your group will follow the schedule of the tour, promptly and without lateness. Visiting time of Fatima 1.5 hours. You will have some free time and if in the meantime will take place mass in the Sanctuary, you will attend the mass.

FATIMA BATALHA NAZARE OBIDOS FULL DAY TOUR – ITINERARY

After your guide picks you up in the hotel we leave Lisbon and heading north straight to in Fatima, our first stop. Before you left your hotel make sure you didn’t forget to take your camera, and comfort footwear. For your convenience, we use only 8-seat air-conditioned vehicle by Mercedes-Benz. When we collect all our group we ready to move forward.

During your trip to Fatima our experienced and friendly tour guide will tell you secrets of the most important Catholic shrines of the world, Fatima. You will visit the Sanctuary of Our Lady of Fatima. The little chapel was build up in 1919 in the place of the apparitions of 1917 at the Cova da Iria and, since then, the place of the Shrine was built up, in response to a significant inflow of pilgrims. Every year more than 5 millions of pilgrims make the journey to see it.

After we will feel unique atmosphere of this holy place, our tour will continue to the majestic Gothic convent “Batalha” which was classified by Unesco as a World Heritage Site. Your guide takes you around the city’s impressive monastery of the 14th century. One of the country’s best examples of the Portuguese architectural style known as Manueline, it was the first royal pantheon in Portugal.

Then we make a pause to take a break for our lunchtime and will have the opportunity to experience some typical Portuguese cuisine, traditional in this area. Good range of wines, good menu, and tasty dishes are waiting for you there.

When everybody full we are ready to go to next point of your tour, the fishing village of Nazaré, world-famous surfing location. During our stay in Nazaré, keep an eye out for the waves in the water. They’ve been known to reach up to 98 feet (30 meters), which are some of the biggest in the entire world. You’ll relish panoramic views of Portugal’s rough Atlantic coastline and make a lot of amazing pictures.

We will continue the tour in Obidos, a medieval town that was part of the dowry of Portuguese queens and integrated the fortresses built by the Templars. See the harmony of the architectural designs of the houses and churches. Take a walk around the historical walls, charming taverns, and handicraft shops. And of course, take the opportunity to taste the famous Ginjinha in a chocolate glass and the city’s delicious regional fruits. Listen to the music in the streets and the hustle and bustle of the people.

Our final destination is Lisbon. We bring you back to your hotel or accommodation.
