At what time tour starts?

Tour starts at 9:00 am. Different pick up time and location on request. You can find time when guide will come to pick you up in your booking invoice.

How big is the group?

Number of tour participants you indicate in booking form. Example:2, 8, 15 participants, etc.

I am alone, solo traveler, can I join the tour?

Yes, price is calculated per group.

How many hours will takes this tour?

Do you come to pick me up from my hotel?

Yes, we do pick up at hotels too in case you choose that option during booking process. Make sure that you write correct address of your hotel or accomodation from where we should pick you up.

What is the difference between group and private tour?

Group tour means you join the group up to 7 people and share tour with other participants and private tour is made special for you and amount of participants you indicate in booking form.

What is the charge for the teenager/child/infant?

The price listed for group. Please inform us about age of your kids, so we can arrange them proper car seats.

I would like to book a tour but we have 10-15 people in our group. You only list prices for tours with a maximum of 8. Is it possible?

Yes, of course. The maximum of 8 is mentioned because it is the maximum capacity of our vehicles. In case you are more than 8 people, and in order to ensure maximum comfort & attention, we will use 2 vans or private comfortable bus. Please send us an email with your needs or indicate it in request form and we’ll send back our prices as soon as possible.

At what time tour will finish?

After pick up, we heading north to visit biggest tourist caves in Portugal, Grutas de Mira de Aire. With 11km of extension , of which 600m can be visited, the caves were elected as one of the 7 Natural Wonders of Portugal. The tour is going desceding, through 683 steps and although it looks a lot, it is not hard because there ase several levels. Inaugurated in 1974, has already received more than 6 million visitors. It is a unique beauty.These caves have been open to the public for more than 40 years and make the perfect place for a family destination – or just to visit alone if you prefer. Here you’ll be able to find underground rivers and lakes, as well as stunning stalactite and stalagmite formations.

Then we’ll turn East to our next point in Tomar. Where will visit Convent of Christ (UNESCO World Heritage site), originally a Templar stronghold built in the 12th century. Originally a 12th-century Templar stronghold, when the order was dissolved in the 14th century the Portuguese branch was turned into the Knights of the Order of Christ, that later supported Portugal’s maritime discoveries of the 15th century. The convent and castle complex is a historic and cultural monument and was listed as a UNESCO World Heritage site in 1983.

Then is time for a lunch in Taverna Medieval is best way to taste Portuguese gastronomy and feel like real Knight of Templar. Fresh fish or meat for low price.

After lunch there is time to visit one more Castle, that was part of the defensive line controlled by the Knights Templar, Castle of Almourol. The Castle of Almourol is regarded as Portugal’s most beautiful castle! Situated on a small cliffy island in the middle of the Tagus River, Almourol Castle is one of the most significant military Medieval monuments, which best evokes the memory of the Knights Templar in Portugal. Situated in the middle of Tagus River, so the best way to reach the castle is by taking a boat.

Our final destination is Lisbon. We bring you back to your hotel or accommodation.
