Alfama Visit the Alfama district by tram. Jump on the Number 28, an ancient vehicle, wood-panelled on the inside, that grinds up the precipitous sloping streets, at its stop in Rua da Conceição.
Belém Tower and Jerónimos Monastery It is here that Lisbon’s most photographed building is found. The Belém tower stands on the shoreline, around 5 km west of the centre of the city. The park and promenade in front of this chunky 16th century fortification are a popular spot for Lisbon families to enjoy the afternoon sunshine, and to watch the crowds of tourists presumably. The tower has been designated World Heritage Site status along with the nearby Jerónimos Monastery, and both are well worth the tram ride out of the city.

Gulbenkian Museum Northeast of Eduardo VII Park is the Gulbenkian Museum, one of the world’s great museums and one of Europe’s unsung treasures. This is one of the world’s finest private art collections, amassed over a period of 40 years by oil magnate Calouste Gulbenkian, who was one of the 20th century’s wealthiest men.

25th of April Bridge Must see in Lisbon Ponte 25 de Abril (25th of April Bridge) – the oldest bridge across the Tagus river in Lisbon. The more than two km long suspension bridge opened in 1966 after almost four years of construction.

Cascais One of the things to do in Lisbon is taking a day trip and visit the beach village of Cascais. The town’s charm, located right above surreal looking cliffs with waves breaking against them, is attracting many tourists each year, seeing them stroll or cycle around the cobblestone streets is not uncommon.
Cabo da Roca It is the westernmost point of the European continent, which is the main reason for visiting it. The views from the cape are quite spectacular, and if you wish you can use Cabo da Roca as the starting point for walking trails along the coast.

Obidos A beautiful medieval town, with history as beautiful as the place. In my opinion, one of the most charming and preserved in Portugal. Just m from Lisbon, approximately 1 hour by car, it is ideal for a full-day visit or even overnight in Pousada Castelo de Obidos , and enjoy the shops, art galleries and countless restaurants in the area. Not that Portugal only has these interesting cities, by any chance, but those for me, are the must-see!
