Next we passing a stunning beach, west of Cascais, Praia do Guincho. Praia do Guincho is the most scenic beach of the Lisbon coastline and the kingdom of the dunes and strong ocean wind. This is a paradise for surfers and windsurfers. Stop for Photos.

Right after we head straight to the top of the mountain Serra de Sintra, standing 500 meters above sea level to visit the Palace of Pena. We will get there by driving along the riverside, so you will enjoy watching a windy waterfront road, with the stunning scenery over the Tagus River and the Atlantic Ocean. You will enjoy scenic views at white sandy beaches, fishing vessels, ancient fortresses and old aristocrat mansions. This monument exemplifies the unique Portuguese romantic architecture of the 19th century. Spend some free time to have lunch or take the opportunity to discover another royal palace. If you decide to spend your free time by one more visit -ideal would be enter the National Palace located right in the historic center. It is the medieval royal palace constracted between 15th and 19th century (the entrance to the National Palace is not included). Another alternative is to take a short break in some of local bakeries where you can experience taste of traditional cakes - queijada or travesseiro. After a lunch break our next stop is the mysterious Gothic mansion Quinta da Regaleira surrounded by fairy tale gardens. On the way to our next stop we will pass along the "Guincho", one of the region’s most famous beaches, popular amongst surfers and all watersport enthusiasts. It is characteristic for its strong winds and amazing sea waves. Next we will take you to the breathtaking cliff "Cabo da Roca" - the westernmost point of the continental Europe. This place, “where the land ends and sea begins” standing in the hight of 140 meters above sea level offers a beautiful view of the rocky coastline where foamy waves loudly crash against rocks. Get your camera ready because this is the place where you would wish that time would stop for a while! Take your time at the seaside resort of Cascais to walk through the charming streets of the former fishing village. In the 19th century Cascais became a vacation destination of royal families who turned this place into the popular vacation spot. Enter the net of narrow alleys and see the traditional Portuguese white houses. Enjoy panoramic tour passing by the picturesque beaches and through the resort Estoril where is located the largest casino in Europe.
