Day 01 : Arrival to Lisbon Welcome to Portugal! Upon arrival at Lisbon International Airport You will get a warm welcome from Go2Lisbon-Tours. Our driver will meet you and will accompany you from airport to the hotel for check-in process. There you will be given all the tour related documents along with a brief discussion about the tour. You can then free time in Lisbon, relax and overnight stay in hotel.
Day 02 : Lisbon Half Day Sightseeing On the second day of the tour we shall take you around some of the best known places of Lisbon. With an informative and friendly guide leading the way, you’ll hit Lisbon’s must-see landmarks and neighborhoods in a single day. Explore the Eduardo VII Park, square Rossio, downtown and Belem and many more places while seeing the city through the eyes of a local. Stop for fantastic photo opportunities in front of Lisbon’s monuments and sweeping vistas. We will start the tour from your hotel, and visit in the morning the major sights of Lisbon such Lisbon centre, admiring the major squares such as Rossio Square and Restauradores Square and after follow up the visit to Lisbon Downtown, admire the narrow streets of Alfama, visit the Lisbon Cathedral, passing by Chiado and some amazing viewpoints. The tour will head towards Belem neighborhood (Belem Tower, Monument of Discoverys and Jeronimos Monastery). After, we will make a stop at the most famous pastry shop in Portugal, founded in 1837. Your city tour of Lisbon complete, your driver will take you back to your hotel or other Lisbon address of choice. After the tour you'll have free time in Lisbon.
Day 03 : Sintra – Cabo da Roca – Cascais Next morning soon after breakfast we shall move on towards Sintra. Escape the hustle and bustle of Lisbon on a full-day tour of Sintra, and discover the whimsical architecture of the town center and Sintra Natural Landscapes. Following a pick-up from your hotel in Lisbon, transfer by air-conditioned, 8-seat vehicle to the extravagant Pena Palace, perched on a rock that overlooks the coastline of Lisbon. Marvel at its mix of Moorish and Manueline motifs and enjoy panoramic views of the surrounding woods. Hear the romantic story of the palace and feel like a member of the Portuguese Royal Family. Stop for a traditional Portuguese lunch, before going to Cabo da Roca, continental Europe’s westernmost point where you can get a certificate inscribed with the words "Where the Land Ends and the Sea Begins" by Camões. Pass the stunning beaches of Cascais, including Praia do Guincho, the most scenic beach on the Lisbon coastline. En route to Cascais, experience the mystery of the "Devil's Mouth” cave, created by the crashing of the waves on the rocky bluff. Stop in the elegant resort town of Cascais, a once quiet fishing village that was discovered by the European nobility for its idyllic setting, and became a favorite destination for the international jet set thereafter. Stroll along the harbor, before transferring back to Lisbon. After tour relax and enjoy the evening at your hotel.
Day 04 : Fatima – Batalha – Nazare – Obidos Our next destination in the tour is Fatima. Following a pick-up at your hotel in Lisbon, you’ll travel in an air-conditioned, 8-seat vehicle to the Fatima Sanctuary. Learn about the miracle of the apparition of the Virgin to local shepherd children in 1917. With free time you can explore the pilgrimage site and attend mass if you wish. Next, your 8-hour tour moves west to the coast, with a stop at Batalha to visit the Batalha Monastery, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the most fascinating Gothic monuments in Europe. King John I of Portugal built the monastery to give thanks to the Virgin Mary over a battle against Spanish troops in 1385. After lunch, you’ll visit Nazare, a clifftop village that offers some of the best views in Portugal. From high on the cliffs surrounding Nazaré, you’ll learn about the legend of Nossa Senhora da Nazaré. The statue of Our Lady of Nazaré is one of the oldest Christian art pieces. Continuing on, you’ll fall in love with the colorful, romantic village of Obidos. Its winding streets and medieval structures, castle walls and handicraft shops make this stop the highlight of the trip for many people. You’ll have the opportunity here to taste the typical liquor of this region known as ginjinha, or simply ginja. After tour relax and enjoy the evening at your hotel.
Day 05: Farewell to Lisbon This is the day when we see you off to the airport for your journey back/or further travel.
